Purple Haze - Sold

This is a painting I did in August of 2009 at a music festival, it was a silent auction gallery fundraiser. This was the first year I had participated, actually the first time I have ever painted plein air in public, which was a little nerve wracking at first. This is not my usual style, I think I was influenced a bit by the music and my surroundings.

    any reason about this painting is very beautiful, I'd think, because my connection slowed to loading, when looking at the tip, I thought this was a calligraphy ... painting turned out beautiful.

    Thank you very much! I wanted to try to add the energy of the music festival into this painting. I did some sketches of a trio on stage and just simplified it down to what you see above. Thanks again for your interest.
